- All dental office staff, remote assistants, and users must uphold professional and ethical standards consistent with their respective jurisdictions.
- Any violation of RA 10173, HIPAA, or related healthcare privacy laws may result in suspension or termination of access and reporting to relevant authorities.
8. Limitation of Liability
- SMYLSYNC provides Services on an “as-is, as-available” basis.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, except as mandated by applicable law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold SMYLSYNC, its officers, employees, and affiliates harmless against claims, damages, liabilities, and costs resulting from your breach of these Terms or misuse of Services, including violations of RA 10173 or HIPAA.

- For Philippine-based users: governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
- For U.S.-based users: governed by U.S. Federal Law and the State law applicable to the healthcare provider.
- In case of disputes, the appropriate jurisdiction will depend on the data subject’s location and applicable regulations.
